Dual CPUs Controller Module
The COTT® Dual-Controller Server barebone integrates the mainboard and PCIe add-on cards in one controller module. It forms an easy-swappable structure with the backplane through high-speed signal connectors, which benefits the users from administration and maintenance perspective.
High Performance
One dual processor node is deployed in a standard 1U form factor space, supporting two Intel® Xeon® E5-2600 v3/v4 series processors in spread-core layout, and a built-in high-speed M.2 PCIe SSD. The overall performance is several times higher than most of traditional 4U rack servers. It is suitable for large-scale network application environments with high space and performance requirements, such as virtual desktops, large-scale graphics rendering, and cloud platforms.
Flexible Network and Storage Expansion
The system maximum supports 4x full height PCIe slot with GPU cards with 2x internal 2.5” system drives integrated. Each controller type can support up to 4x GbE ports or 2x 10GbE ports as options.
Massive Memory
The mainboard supports up to 16 DDR4 memory DIMMs.
And the RDIMM maximum capacity supports 1TB.
Cable-less Optimization
The entire system realizes a cable-less design in mechanism. Replace the cables by high-speed PCBs, which greatly improves the system’s reliability and heat dissipation performance. At the same time, it avoids the aging and loosening connection caused by cables.
Fully Modular Design
The controller, power supply, and hard disk are fully modularized. Once any part of the controller fails, just easily to pull out the controller for maintenance.
BBU for Data Protection
In an accident of power down, the system will automatically enable the built-in backup battery to save the running data. It can prevents data loss and file system destruction, and the sustainable system operation.
